Tom went to Arizona State University where he received his undergraduate degree in business management. Before going to law school at Northern Illinois University, Tom worked as a business manager where he found his calling in helping others attain what is just and right. While in law school, Tom worked as Clerk for the US District Court in Northern Illinois and as an intern with the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office.

Since graduating from law school, Tom worked as an Assistant State's Attorney for DuPage County. Tom worked through traffic, misdemeanor, and felony divisions at the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office. Through his hard work and drive to provide justice to victims, Tom litigated a number of cases from indictment to trial. Tom handled all manner of cases from misdemeanor DUIs to felony DUIs where injuries were involved, misdemeanor batteries and felony batteries with severe injuries, thefts, burglaries, robberies, and armed robberies, and a number of other types of cases fighting for victims. While at the DuPage County State's Attorney's Office for over eight years Tom handled thousands of criminal cases, trying over a hundred cases to verdict. This experience provides an invaluable opportunity for clients to use Tom's expertise as a trial attorney to zealously advocate for his clients inside and outside of court.

Tom is licensed to practice law in Illinois. When not advocating for his clients, Tom enjoys exercising, trying new and exotic foods and building Lego sets.
