The warning to motorist states a 12 month suspension occurs if you are a first offender and you refuse to submit to breath or chemical testing. A six month suspension occurs if you submit to testing and the results are above the legal limit. For second or subsequent offenders, a 36 months suspension occurs if you refuse to submit to breath or chemical testing. Your license will be suspended for 12 months, if the results are above the legal limit.
